Appointments
Consultations are by appointment and we aim to provide a same day appointment if you need to see the doctor urgently. However, urgent appointments will be with the available doctor at the time and not necessarily at a time of your own choice.
We aim to provide enough appointments so that any request to be seen by a doctor will be met in 2 working days.
We always try to see you on time but we would like to remind you that the doctor may have to deal with medical emergencies which must take priority over routine appointments, however we normally see patients within 30 minutes appointment time. When there is a longer delay patients will be informed via the reception desk.
Please note all appointments are arranged to cover one consultation only and for 10 minutes.. Please make a separate appointment for each person who wishes to see the doctor.
Telephone Advice
If you have a problem and would like telephone advice, one of our nurses is available to speak to you each day (times vary Heston only). You can leave a message for the doctor who will call you back if necessary.
Practice Nurses
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
