If you feel that your problem is urgent and cannot wait until the next normal surgery please call 111.

NHS 111 can offer several different types of help.

  • They can give you advice on your particular problem.
  • They can give you an appointment to come to see the on call doctor at Ealing Hospital Out of Hours GP Unit.
  • Finally they can arrange for a deputising doctor to visit you at home if they feel it is indicated.
  • If you are given an appointment for the Primary Care Centre; the nurse will give you directions how to find it.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
